
Heidi Helgeson
Heidi L. Helgeson MA, RNC-NIC, FCT
Heidi has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Catherine University and NCC certification in newborn intensive care.
Heidi’s career included NICU staff nurse, prenatal educator, staff mentor/ preceptor and a member of evidenced based hospital unit councils designed to advance nursing practice and patient care.
In 2014, Heidi obtained a master's degree in Holistic Health Studies from St. Catherine University. Her graduate thesis was a collaborative research project conducted at her hospital workplace.
This research introduced acute health care staff to scientific principles of human bio energy, implications for the clinical team environment, the patient/provider relationship, as well as integrative approaches to health.
Heidi and her research partners have since presented their work to holistic practitioners and at nursing conferences.
They co-authored an article describing their research findings that was published in Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing, in 2016. Heidi studied Field Control Therapy (FCT), a biofield modality developed by internist and homeopath Dr. Savely Yurkovsky and has been in private practice as an FCT practitioner since 2014.
Heidi is passionate about offering an integrative perspective to her clients, to being a bridge builder between biomedical and holistic approaches to health.
